Dmitry Smit, President of RESF: The Russian Esports Federation aims at holding the finals of competitions open for international participation not only in Moscow, but also in the capitals of key regions of the country. The RESF Open is one of the most significant events for amateur players. We are happy that this year’s finals will be held in Kazan. I am sure that together we will be able to organize a bright sports event that will bring a lot of pleasant impressions to both its participants and spectators.

The participants of the Finals will compete in Dota2, Clash Royale and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Talents of the popular esport studio RuHub will comment the games, and for this purpose, their mobile office will be deployed in Kazan for the days of the competitions.

The event will be held in the educational and laboratory building of the Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism that celebrates its 45th anniversary this year. The building was raised in 2013 as one of the facilities for organizing the XXVII World Summer Universiade and was used as the International Information Center. After the Universiade 2013, the Volga Sports Academy has many times become a venue for various international events and forums, therefore it is completely ready to receive participants and spectators of the RESF Open Finals.
